In 1999, a group of families concerned about the future of public education decided to start their own school based in Christian Faith. As the years passed and the school grew, they found themselves in need of a new facility to house Cornerstone Christian Academy. The new building would give them new classrooms for their pre-K through 12th grade program along with a gymnasium that would be central to many of their events and activities.
As they went through the process of funding, designing and praying for their new facilities, they chose a local general contractor to partner with them on building their new school. P3 Builds took the lead on the overall project and contacted Renegade Steel Buildings to provide the structure for the school.
CCA broke ground for their new school appropriately enough on Good Friday in 2017 and had their ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the new school on Good Friday in 2018. Since then they have enjoyed all the benefits of having a fresh new campus to call home.
The plans for a new steel building
Cornerstone Christian Academy had plans for a building that would house their classrooms and offices as well as a larger building to be used as their gymnasium. This design would actually dictate two separate buildings attaching at a common wall giving the school a sleek design and allowing for all their space to be under one roof.
Part of the specs called for a different wall panel to be used along with some of the walls to be built by P3 Builds. This gave them the ability to create a truly unique look utilizing stone, PBU panels and horizontal PBU panels. As you can see, the combination works well to give them a clean lines for their building.
Interior Build Out
The building for classrooms and offices is approximately 99'x147'x14'. This size allowed for many classrooms along with offices, storage, and reception. The large windows allow for natural sunlight to enhance the classroom.
Cornerstone offers classes from Kindergarten through 12th grade and is ACSI accredited.

Gymnasium
The gymnasium is approximately 99'x199x26'. While the obvious use would be for sports like basketball and volleyball, CCA utilizes the facility for so much more. This is a hub for activity in the school, from early morning practices, to playtime and physical education and of course pep-rallies. Being a large open area provides many opportunities for fellowship.
