Every business office needs a little get away from time to time. You know, just to get out of the office environment and spend some time together as friends. After all, we spend half our waking hours around the folks in the office.

Here at Renegade, we are no different.  That’s why every year, Kevin likes to put together a trip for us to just kick back and have some fun.  In years past, we have taken several fishing trips in the Florida panhandle.  This year it was time for a little change.  This year, we went quail hunting at Southwind Plantation in South Georgia.  This turned out to be just what we needed!

Being our first company trip to Southwind, nobody knew what to expect.  Leaving Hoschton around 5:30am meant we could get through Atlanta traffic, grab some breakfast and arrive in time to get one hunt in that same afternoon.  As soon as we got there, we could tell this was going to be a great trip.  We were met with awesome staff that got us situated, fed us lunch and off we went on the first hunt.

So, we finish the first hunt, head back to the house and get ready for dinner. We had thought lunch was good, but it was nothing compared to what they had in store for us. When I say two-inch-thick pork chops, I mean it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal together as a group and finished off the day watching football.

Saturday was just as awesome, up early for breakfast, then off to our first hunt. Back in for lunch, then out again for the second hunt of the day. Another large, delicious dinner, then some college football. Sunday was our last day, so we had breakfast and a morning hunt before heading back home.

The owners, guides and staff made us feel more like friends than customers! We truly enjoyed getting to spend this time away from the office, and plan to make this an annual trip here at Renegade!
