They had been working out of a couple of small sheds which didn't give them much room for more than one project at a time. They contacted Renegade for their 40x60 steel building for furniture restoration. Being handy with all types of equipment also meant that they would construct the building themselves saving money on the total cost of the building.
While the building was being fabricated they worked on digging, forming and pouring the foundation. The building comes with anchor bolt plans and they decided to purchase foundation plans as well so they would know exactly what the foundation needed to be. This 40x60 slab looks like it will give them a lot of room for multiple projects.
When the building arrived, everything was off loaded and inventoried. The roll up doors and insulation both delivered on separate trucks later in the day. All the building parts and pieces were arranged in such a way that made it easy for them to know what they had and to keep it clean until it was time for the building to be erected.
Steel Building Construction
The customer took their time and put the building together themselves. They paid close attention to detail and made sure everything was plumb and level with the framing. This helped insure the roof and wall panels went on easily.
This just goes to show that you can put up a steel building yourself.
