Georgia Steel Buildings - what to expect from Renegade
One of the most important things to expect before the sale with Renegade is no pressure. We are not in the business of pushing customers to put a deposit down today. In fact, check out our Steel Building Specials page to see why you might not want to go with that special building. We want to help inform you to get the most economical building for your needs.
While we work with you on your building, we will discuss your location in Georgia and use your zip code to find your wind and snow loads. Of course, you need to check with your local municipality to confirm what codes they require for your area.
After the sale, you can expect communication and customer service. Our goal is to have a satisfied customer that wants to share about your great experience with Renegade. In fact, much of our business comes from repeats and referrals. That says something about how we like to treat our customers.
What makes a Renegade Steel Building Different?
PBR panels standard
“PBR” stands for Purlin Bearing Rib. While others may use a standard panel, Renegade uses the “PBR” panel on the roof and walls of our buildings. This gives the system rigidity and weathertightness. Other profiles are available with the purlin bearing system.
Long Life Screws
Renegade’s long-life, self drilling fasteners are cast aluminum zinc with a EPDM sealing washer help enforce the finish warranties and ensure a long lasting, rust free building. We include these on both the roof and walls.
Formed Base Trim
This is a "premium" trim that we include on all our buildings. The concrete is poured with a squared off edge and the formed base trim is attached around the perimeter. The wall panel then attaches to this 18 gauge 1 piece system. We think this "premium" trim is truly the best base option for your building. That's why we include it standard on all of our buildings.
Factory Welded Clips
Clips for the roof purlins and wall girts are factory located and welded saving you time when erecting your building.
Framed Openings
One other big difference in a Renegade building is that whenever a customer wants a window, we always include a framed opening. This provides a sturdy and secure structure for the window to attach to. It also provides a better fit for weather tightness. Other companies may take the cheap approach and just sell a window that simply screws into the wall panel.

How does the process work for getting a quote on a steel building?
We know it can be a bit intimidating getting an online quote on a big ticket item like a steel building. Fear not, we are here to help you through the process. First and foremost, we are not a high pressure sales team. We are easy to talk to and only want to help you get the best building for your money.
When you fill out a quick quote form, we will reach out to you to make sure we have the details correct for your building. Some things like roll up doors, walk doors, and window locations are hard to explain on a simple form, so that is why we call you back. Once we have the details on your building, we are ready to go to work with estimating to get an accurate quote back to you as quickly as possible. Putting your quote together is usually a pretty quick process, but some design details can take a little longer.
We typically follow up with you within a few days of sending your quote. This is not to bug you, but to make sure you received what you needed and see how everything looks to you. Depending on where you are at with your Georgia Steel Building project, just let us know when the best time to check back in with you. We want to be here for any questions you may have, but we don't want to bug you to death or make you feel pressured to do anything before your ready.
We often get asked about contracting a whole project otherwise known as a "turn-Key" solution. We are not contractors and cannot do concrete and labor. We only sell the steel building kit. We can, however, put you in touch with companies to do that work for you. We feel it is better and more economical for you to work directly with these contractors. Our quote will only be for the building and any accessories you choose to go with it.
